This is a Input Method Editor (IME) and can be used in all applications on your phone by selecting it. Follow launch instructions below. This Urdu ( اردو ) input tool keyboard provides a better usability ( urdu typing) with limited no. of keys on screen. Letters are big so easy to point by fingertips. As you start typing, next letters will keep coming automatically on screen, simultaneously udru words from dictionary also pop-ups.
Panini Keypad allows one to type in Urdu directly on phone with single keypresses (instead of multitaps) very fast and very conveniently by predicting characters that you are most likely to write next. This is a new Predictive text based on linguistics and offers many advantages. PaniniKeypad also been available for many other Indian languages.

Two rules of typing (لکھنے کے دو کانوں ھیں -)
1. Look for the character, press it.
(١-اپنے ضرورت کے ھوروف کو سکرین پر دیکھں اور)
2. If character not there, press Next List button.
(٢-اگر آپ کی ضرورت کا ھوروف سکرین نہیں ہے تب اگلی فہرست دبایں -)
Installation.
1. Download and install this application on phone.
2. Go to "Setting"->"Locale & text"/ Language & input-> Select PaniniKeypad (check on).
3. Then select "Input method"/ "Default keyboard" as PaniniKeypad.
4. Back to text compose area, keypad will appear automatically.
5. Experience Fast & Easy Urdu typing on phone.
Examples: (مثال کے طور پر )
اسلام= ا + س + ل + ا + م
اسکول = ا + س + ک + و + ل
گھر = گ + ھ + ر
نزاکت = ن + ز + ا + ک + ت
پیغام = پی+ غ + ا + م
Note that the matra (a dependent vowel is always entered after the consonant even though it may be actually occuring before in form).
You can input the English in between the Urdu by switching to ABC mode or you can include English/Urdu Numerals, Symbols and Smilies between the words by pressing the 123 button.
In this latest (PaniniKeypad Urdu IME), there is no need to change the input method for writing English/Urdu.
By using Urdu PaniniKeypad online virtual typing software you can type urdu sms in urdu fonts, sms, messages, chat, email, blogpost, comment post, update status on facebook, twitter, Google+, save contact book, type shayari, lyrics, gazhal, etc.
