MIUI Compass is the official compass app for Android from Xiaomi. It is built in in their phone's ROMs and now can be downloaded on other Android devices. It consist of a compass and level tool in one application.
How to use MIUI Compass
Start the app and it will load the compass. It shows true north marked in red, the degrees at which your are pointing your phone and geographic orientation. When you move and it will rotate and shows you real-time info. The app has a built in nivell tool as well. You can use it to level all kind of things.
Find your way in AR mode
Great about the compass app is that it can be used in augmented reality mode. The AR mode can be activated when holding your phone vertically or horizontally. Make sure that the camera pointing in the direction you want to go. It will show the compass on top of what you see from the camera. The level tool can be used in AR mode as well.
MIUI Compass overall impressions
This compass app is really great because it loads fast and fo its job perfectly. It has small footprint on your device and will guide you no matter where you are. You can view you geo coordinates from the bottom of the app.
