As a person who can't speak Chinese I can honestly confirm this app manages to impress me. It is very fun like a child game and easy to use. Its core curriculum perfectly designed by second language teachers from Peking University. Technologies like exercising Chinese character handwriting and pinyin tone animation are included in the application. The Chinese automatic speech assessment is very useful when it comes to practicing your speaking skills. This way you will learn Chinese grammars and vocabulary required to pass HSK 1- 2.

In this game you've to click on the correct translation of any given word. Make sure to do this as fast and accurate as you can, because each word has a time limitation.
Brilliant, easy to use and yet information-dense app that gives you grammar, games, vocab and much more. Initially, I didn't enjoy the fact that you can be rated on your ability to speak Chinese (at least, not in public outside the classroom) but I pushed through to find that the games are endearing and educational all at the same time. Basics are drilled into you: new stuff is assimilated quickly. This is one of the best apps out there to help you with practice for a language class, or a crash course on the key phrases. The only negatives are that you don't have flashcards that can teach large chunks of vocabulary. But if you're brave, willing to speak up and learn your grammar - you'll go far, little panda.
