Moved to this when Google announced shutting down their MyTracks app in April2016. So far pleased with this app. Its small, neat and works on older smartphones which most of the newer ones don't. Yet to try it on a long walk. Wished the map zoom worked like Google with a double tap and slide up/down (just seems to zoom in and not out and need two finger pinch etc)

I just started using this app this week on vacation in Florida. W.orks great tells, you a lot of important information and is easy to use. If you get lost on your treck you can use the path to get back to where you started from I suppose. Hit Go at the start and the app does the rest. Nice!
