Just bought YAS 209 on Friday. Spent a lot of time of the last few days trying to get App to find the SB wifi. Knew wifi was active as could see on phone and PC. Gave up wirh phone and last ditch thought try my tablet. SB was found, asked for PW linked it to my SSID and worked instantly. Noted that on tablet 1st thing asked was turn off Bluetooth. Just tried with my phone with BLUETOOTH OFF, SB App opened and found the SB. Was about to give up and return the unit.

Connected the soundbar YAS 209 to my system via ethernet cable directly, this app keeps crashing and states that my soundbar needs updating but fails all the time....disappointing to say the least. Edit to 4 stars. I installed the update via USB with no issue. A reboot of my phone solved the sign in issue i had with Alexa, now all is good and the app is working as it should.
