It overwrites the data from your GPS and tricks your device to think that your location is somewhere else. Thanks to this you can use it to prank your friends, shared geo information via messaging apps or geotag a given photo. FakeGPS has some features including the switch between normal and satellite map views, adding favorite locations around the map, but you should be aware of cheating, because you will get caught. Before using the app make sure to disable high accuracy location positioning/mobile locations under Android Location Settings, leave GPS ONLY option on and activate the ALLOW MOCK LOCATIONS option in your Android’s developer options.
