Firefox Preview Internet app
Fenix is new browser with GeckoView engine and Android Components developed by Mozilla. Its main goal is to become the default Mozilla's browser for Android devices. Here is version of this new browser to download and check out its new features.
How Fenix works?
Interesting things about this new browser are tab management, a faster engine, and a more modern look including dark mode. Very cool feature is that it saves individual tabs as sessions. This means that instead of having all of previously browsed web pages opened in tabs, you've all of them in one sessions. So you can browse sessions from all previous uses of the browser. The rumours say that it will be possible to share browsing sessions saved as collections with other users and devices through Firefox Sync.
Great privacy and security
Fenix include a number of privacy-focused features. You can block everything from ads to autoplaying video and audio. Privacy controls for cookies, URL redirections, tracking and pop-ups are made very easy to use. By controlling this you can save a lot of bandwidth.
Fenix overall impressions
Fenix has a reading mode, custom tabs, and per-website permissions. It has snappy, fast and smooth scrolling experience. Mozilla plans to migrate current Firefox users to Fenix at a later date.
