Geovelo, your dedicated GPS for bike !

The application take care of your bike type, your speed, the desired type of course (from fastest to most secure). Geovelo chooses, first and foremost, cycleways, bike lanes and low traffic streets to ensure comfort, safety and serenity.
• Bicycle sharing systems
Geovelo provides in real time the bicycle availabilities and parking spaces. (Including Vélib, Velopop, Vélo +, V'éol, Cristolib, Vélo'V, Bicloo, VélôToulouse, the bike STAR, Yélo)
• GPS Navigation
Geovelo provides a complete real-time guidance system : map / full-screen / compass mode, vocal guide, notifications, vibrations. Compatible with smartwatches (Android Wear / Apple Watch).
• Statistics / GPS Tracks
Sign in and save your trips to get statistics. By the way: several times each year, Geovelo rewards users who have traveled the most distance.
• Bike-routes & bicycle tourism
The app also offers French bike-routes (including The Vélodyssée®, Via Rhôna, The Loire à Vélo®, The Canal of the Two Seas Cycling, The Vélo Francette®, The Veloscenie, The Green Avenue London-Paris) and many predefined routes to discover the heritage and its beauty.
• Contributions & community
Report missing bike parkings, cartographic issues or road works, dangerous roads for cyclists and much more in order to help the cycling community.
• Bike parkings & bike bows
Geovelo also gives you quick access to find nearby bike parkings and bike bows .
• Useful tools
The application includes many tools such as the display of bicycle facilities, local weather, simplified place search, etc.

• Permissions
- GPS location: needed to display your current location and for the navigation
- Storage: Required for installing the application on the SD card and for the proper functioning of the cartographic system (offline / cached tiles).
• Credits & Data
Geovelo relies on OpenStreetMap data which is an international project aimed at creating a free map. Any type of data can be collected including bicycle facilities data. Geovelo is one of the main French contributors: we collect and correct data on the French territory. For shared bikes system, we use data provided by JCDecaux, ClearChannel, Keolis, and others.
