This keyboard is created for those who only need a keyboard and nothing more.
To enable the keyboard:
* Open "Simple Keyboard" from your launcher
* Enable the Simple Keyboard (default system warning will be shown)
* Switch to Simple Keyboard from current Input Method (differs between keyboards, usually long-press space)
* To edit Simple Keyboard settings long-press "," or open system Settings, Languages & Input, Simple Keyboard.
* You can enable/disable all the input methods in Settings, Languages & Input, Manage Keyboards (differs between phones)

Love It Would be my daily keyboard but it doesn't support emojis. I use \n" + 'emojis a lot in Facebook groups and when messaging people. Still giving it \n' + "5 stars because it tells you in the description that it doesn't support \n" + 'emojis and it does what it does so well. I also appreciate that it has a \n' + 'very small (almost nonexistent) footprint.
Just the very best of an option ... for some severely concerning and idealistic examples of privacy-sensitive people ... no learning of somone's personality ... no google-seeing-all thing ... no data acquiring ... it is literally a typewriter ... you just type the things ... and the only way to spy on you ... is to stand behind you.
definetely a simple keyboard, no word guessin and autocomplete so if you use and old device like me (note 2 . A4.4) you will be happy. plain black background with white items looks amazing, easy to use on amoled screens, this one is definetely a success. thanx. p.s. app is clean, no adds, no reminders : clean....
i was looking for a lightweight keyboard with a dark theme. bonus: after using it for a bit i notice i have far fewer missed keys than i had on gboard. the spacebar is huge and actually extends to the bottom of the screen. with gboard i was frequently missing spaces, but not with this
No useless features (autocorrect, suggestions, emoji) that consume UI space even when toggled off. No quirky behaviors that you can't address. Just a basic keyboard that works as expected, the layouts are correct. I would've liked a customizable upper row but it's fine as it is with numbers.
Perfect keyboard for those that don't want to be cosseted by auto correct, dictionary guesses and bizarre paths to additional services. Drag left and right on the spacebar to move the cursor!
