Microsoft SwiftKey Beta app for Android review by AndroidFreeware
Preview new features of Microsoft's predictive keyboard. In October 2016, Microsoft shocked us all by acquiring SwiftKey, a company specialized in the development of predictive keyboards for smartphones. This acquisition was not entirely unexpected, considering that the Redmond company had already incorporated developers from other companies such as Acompli, Sunrise, or Xamarin, but SwiftKey was perhaps the most controversial due to how much this team had contributed to the Android ecosystem. It was not long before SwiftKey for Android became the most downloaded application on Google Play, with millions of users who preferred it to their default keyboard, even to Google's Gboard.
Microsoft SwiftKey Beta for testing new features
Since then, the company has continued its development, although with a somewhat less visible presence than before. SwiftKey is now a Microsoft product, and as such, it has a beta version in which users can test new functions and developments that still have not seen the light of day in the stable version.
In this app, users will be able to test new features and functions that may be included in future versions of the SwiftKey keyboard, Microsoft's predictive keyboard for Android. It is a second application that works independently from the official stable version and that users can use to test and report any bugs or issues they encounter. As a beta tester, you will have access to the latest developments that may never make it to the official version.
