Yahora is a minimalist event logger. You give a recurring event a name, and from then on a single tap on its chip records the date and time it happened. No intermediate screen, no confirmation dialog, no extra fields to fill in.
Most tracking apps grow into note-taking tools: nested categories, custom fields, reminders, statistics. Yahora deliberately does not. A tag has a name and a favourite flag; an entry has a timestamp. That is the entire model, and the design goal follows from it — recording an event should cost one tap and zero attention.
What it does
- Tag cloud — chips flow across the screen, each as wide as its name and all sharing one type size, sorted alphabetically. Favourites are marked with a star, which changes the emphasis but never the order.
- One-tap logging — a short tap records the current timestamp right away, with a haptic tick as confirmation, and offers to undo it from its own snackbar.
- Long press for everything else — rename a tag, mark it as a favourite, or browse its history. Actions that do not apply are hidden, not greyed out.
- History as a tree — months, then days, then the individual entries at HH:mm:ss. Each branch says how many children it holds.
- Safe by construction — a tag that holds entries cannot be deleted, so a history is never lost by accident.
Privacy
Yahora is fully offline. It declares no network permission, so it cannot reach the internet even by accident: no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party libraries beyond Android's own. Everything you log stays in the app's private database on your device.
