GOVERNMENT LIMITATIONS
The publication of fuel prices is a legal obligation for fuel distributors, as required by Articles 5 and 6 of the Ministerial Order of 8 July 1988 ¹.
The Département doutre-mer are unfortunately not displayed within Ratafuel due to incomprehensible missing data from the Fuel Price French Government API.
In the DOM, fuel prices are regulated every month by prefects setting a maximum price via prefectural decrees, in accordance with Articles R671-1 to R671-31 of the French Energy Code ². Without any further justification and without any apparent technical problem, these data are not added to the public database of fuel prices.
Under Article 73 of the Constitution ³, regulations are applicable as of right in these departments, unless expressly derogated. No identifiable derogating provision seems to exclude the DOM from this publication.
Due to a lack of reliable data, the DOM are unfortunately not supported for now.
