ByeByeDPI Protect your Smartphone app for Android description

An Android app that runs ByeDPI locally and redirects all TCP traffic through it.

The app is not a VPN. It uses Androids VPN mode to redirect traffic, but it does not transmit anything to a remote server. It does not encrypt traffic or hide your IP address.

The application is a fork of ByeDPI for Android

Features:

  • Support application filter for VPN mode (separate tunneling via whitelist/blacklist)
  • Autostart VPN/Proxy when device starts
  • Auto-connect to VPN/Proxy when launching the application
  • Save lists of command line parameters with the ability to switch
  • Improved compatibility with Android TV/BOX, fixed some bugs of the original

What's new in v1.8.2

  • Fixed an issue where stopping the service from the notification would hang after clearing recent apps on MIUI, HarmonyOS, and similar systems.
  • Added automatic removal of leftover notifications after a forced service termination upon opening the app or tapping the stop button.
