Paperless Native Document Scanning app for Android description

Paperless Native is a free and open-source Android client for Paperless-ngx, the self-hosted document management system.

Connect to your own Paperless-ngx server and manage your document archive from your phone. No cloud services, no data ever leaves your device or your own server.

Features

  • Browse, search, and filter your entire document library
  • Upload documents from your camera or photo library
  • View PDF and image documents directly in the app
  • Edit document metadata: title, correspondent, tags, document type, storage path, dates, and custom fields
  • Manage tags, correspondents, document types, storage paths, mail accounts, mail rules and workflows
  • Dashboard with document statistics
  • Full-text search with filtering
  • Biometric authentication

Privacy

This app collects no analytics data, uses no third-party SDKs, and does not contact any server other than your own Paperless-ngx instance. The only data stored on your device is your server URL and an authentication token, held in the systems encrypted secure storage.

HTTP connections are allowed so that users running Paperless-ngx on a local network without TLS can still connect.

Requirements

A running, accessible Paperless-ngx instance (self-hosted)
