ProseReader for Android works fully offline. This app is 100% self-contained and works without generating network traffic.
Immersive fullscreen mode
When reading prose, you dont want to be distracted by other things. The fullscreen feature lets you read documents without anything other than your text on screen.
File handler for EPUB documents
ProseReader can read files from the Documents and Download folders, selected via file picker. It can also read files handed over by other apps (such as File Manager, etc.). When you download EPUB files via web browser, ProseReader for Android will offer to open these files as soon as they are fully downloaded.
List of Recent Documents
ProseReader for Android can offer a list of recently viewed EPUB documents, which is very convenient when you read several documents in parallel. The Recent Files feature requires a permission for the app to programatically read files from the Documents folder. ProseReader does not request a permission to read from any other folder.
