CypherLeaf is a clean, private note-taking app for Android. It works fully offline, has no ads, no trackers, and no account. Your notes stay on your device.

- App lock using your device biometric or screen lock
- Protected notes: individual notes are encrypted with AES-GCM, and the key is held in the Android Keystore, separate from the notes database

- Encrypted portable backup protected by a passphrase (PBKDF2 + AES-GCM), so you can move your notes to a new device safely

Privacy:
CypherLeaf requests no internet permission in its release build, so it cannot send your notes anywhere. Fonts are bundled with the app rather than downloaded. Protected notes and encrypted backups never leave the device in readable form.
